NNIS - Deepblue
On Deepblue, Jakob Sinn, aka NNIS, dives into the space where structure meets intuition. These six tracks grow out of a delicate dance between control and spontaneity — a musical process that's part careful construction, part happy accident. Synths, percussion, and everyday sounds blend into pieces that slowly unfold in subtle shifts, always guided by an invisible inner logic. The music feels like an endless, evolving tapestry of sound, stretching out and revealing new details as it moves. The title Deepblue suggests a kind of depth — spatial, emotional, and conceptual — an invitation to sink into layers of texture, movement, and sound. It also hints at those moments when systems start running on their own, opening up new realms of possibility — in music, or, like the legendary chess computer Deep Blue, in the thrilling space where calculation meets surprise.
